Rural Development Initiative - Uyarvai Nokki
Recognizing child's conduct, discipline and empowering parents to invest more time in child's growth.
This project is taken forward for underprivileged children whose parents strive hard to meet their ends.
In our recent meeting held on 14.10.2024 at Hindu Higher Secondary School Maduranthakam, parents of shortlisted students who were regular to school with 95-99% of attendance (irrespective of their academic performance) were given a provision bag worth Rs 1000 with essential household needs which would last for a week.
This also did act as a motivation factor for the parents to come to school and get to know more about the importance of education, child's development and other initiatives.
Interactive sessions
Interactive sessions are more and most valuable sessions. This is a program where students get an opportunity to interact with eminent personalities from various walks of life. Interactive sessions help to build confidence and create more inner strength as the students are exposed and experienced to talking to various personalities who have succeeded in their lives by facing
many challenges which they have transformed into opportunities. These sessions play a real-time experience sessions for the students to explore.
Self discovery series
It is a process of understanding our self, who we are, what we are, our needs, wants, and so on. It holds great significance in our personal development, career satisfaction, fulfilling relationships, and overall well-being. Knowing oneself enables greater adaptability to change. Self-discovery helps us to understand what strategies work for us and builds self-confidence.
Understanding Vivekananda
Swami Vivekananda was an Indian monk, philosopher, guide, teacher, and whatnot. Swamiji Chicago address was a proud moment in India’s history.
Swamiji proclaimed India’s spiritual, cultural, and intellectual greatness in the World Parliament of Religions.
In commemoration of the 125 th years of Swamijis return, we organized an interactive session with the inspirers of Swamiji named and titled UNDERSTANDING VIVEKANANDA
SHE Initiative
Knowledge & Skills are the two main driving forces for one’s own growth and as well the well-being of society. Women play a key role in the family and socio-economic development of the society. Every situation in life demands, the need of these crucial growth elements. Especially in the current times as we are constantly exposed to the dynamic environment, one is expected to execute these skills in action for the sustenance and betterment of one's life. Therefore we decided to take up an initiative that fills the existing gap in lack of skills through formulating a special training module for women in need.
